How to take care of your Henna Tattoo

  • The Henna paste will dry pretty quickly.  Leave it on as long as possible.  The longer it is on, the darker it will be. 

  • When the paste flakes off your skin, the stain underneath will be a light orange, and might be hard to see at first. As the day goes on, it will get darker, and even more the next day.

  • Try to avoid water for several hours at least for the first 12/24 hours.  

  • Using something to moisturize your henna tattoo, like coconut oil or shea butter will help it to last longer.

*** Swimming in a chlorinated or salt water pool will make your henna tattoo fade faster.

How Long will henna last?

Depending on how well you take care of your henna tattoo, will depend on how long it will last.  Most, last one week.
